National Water Week

National Water Week - 19-25 October 2008Gippsland Water is proud to support National Water Week, the annual initiative aimed at increasing community awareness about water conservation, water safety, and the environment.

National Water Week was first held in 1993 and has carried the theme "Water for life" each year. This year, the theme is 'Australia's most precious resource'. The event encourages members of the community to understand and take action to protect and conserve our precious water resources and habitats.

Gippsland Water promotes water conservation

To celebrate National Water Week this year, Gippsland Water will be holding a number of displays at shopping centres in Warragul, Morwell, Sale and Traralgon. More information about the event is available on our Special Events and Competitions page.
